Modular and growing record stand
I never really found what I was looking for when searching for a decent record stand. Some are tedious to print and none were expandable.
That's why I'm presenting the first customizable record stand that grows with you.
It can be printed without support, consists only of printed parts and can be individually configured. The print area is 20 cm x 20 cm - should therefore be possible on most printers.
In the basic version, the stand consists of the two basic modules (two different designs to choose from), two longitudinal connectors and a cross connector. Basic module 1 and basic module 2 must each be printed twice. (Selection from filled or as hexagon pattern)
If the collection is still small, the basic version can be modified with the longitudinal connectors with one-, three-, five- or seven-fold stop. (Seven-fold stop cannot be combined with subsequent high support)
If the collection of vinyls continues to grow, simply add two extension modules. These are then fixed again with the longitudinal connectors.
Stabilize again with an additional cross brace.
The extension module can now be supplemented with an additional high support. This divides the LP collection and provides additional support.
Each longitudinal connector can also be replaced by a longitudinal connector with stop.
Several extension modules can also be combined with the connectors, leaving out a cross strut. In this case, the extension pieces with longitudinal connectors are stabilized by the single connector with "Vinyl" lettering.
A single stopper (hexagon stopper) is also available for the hexagon parts, which fits into the honeycombs of the basic and extension module.
If you want to use the vinyl stand to store records vertically, you can now do so with the 90° (or 92°) 1 and 2 extension module in combination with the hexagon base module.
(1 and 2 are mirrored so that they fit together as a pair on one side)
All parts are already positioned correctly for printing.
