3D model description
This is a custom-designed paramotor mount inspired by the Para-RC Cloud 1.5 ARF set from Hacker Brushless Motors. I created this version with a focus on modularity and accessibility, using laser-cut wooden components in a puzzle-style interlock system.
Originally planned for CNC cutting, the DXF files were adapted for laser cutting when my CNC machine failed. All structural parts are crafted from wood, offering a lightweight yet solid frame. The engine mounting system was first built from wood and later upgraded using 3D-printed components for improved strength and precision.
After hours of designing, tweaking, laser-cutting (and almost setting off the smoke alarm 😅), this RC paraglider finally took to the skies — and flew beautifully. From puzzle-style wooden joints to the custom motor mount that started in wood and ended up 3D printed, every part of this build carries a piece of the process... and the passion.
To all the builders and dreamers out there — may your props spin true and your builds soar high. ✈️❤️
