Stop snow and debris accumulating in your Volvo type 2 charge port during long charging sessions! To mount, slide the hinge side claw in place, align the locking pin and press in place. To make it stay put better, additionally push the locking pin down. To remove, release the cable by pushing in on cable release symbol (and press the locking pin up to release, if pushed in) and then simply lift the shield away.

The "locking" feature is optional. If you don't wish to use it, screw the cap on to protect the pin from snow and ice. When the cap is not in use, it can be stowed away on the other side of the shield.

The charge status indicator light shines clearly through a dedicated opening with a protective lens and cable release button is fully operable.

Fits Volvo XC40, EX40, EC40 and C40 European models (type 2). Please note that as with any unofficial accessory you are responsible for using this shield.
