PILOT HELMET - 1/1 REAL SCALE

Since I have been publishing, I have always been asked for a full scale pilot helmet; so I have prepared one in a special way, so that you can print all this material by part; which not only comes with the helmet, but also includes accessories that complement the equipment of a fighter pilot helmet.

It is in 1/1 scale, its dimensions are 230mmx228mm x 216 height.

Inside the file package you will find a Pdf document, which will provide you with internal and external information of the helmet so you can scale it or adjust it to your required dimensions.

The helmet has an empty dome, clean of any disturbing elements, it is designed so that you can fit it with foam or a liner that molds to the user's head.

Recommendations: when adjusting the scale, you should keep in mind all the included accessories; so that together the coupling elements still fit.

If you require support to scale this helmet, do not hesitate to contact me to make the adjustments you require, for sure I will need the perimeter measurement of the head to make the modifications, but that we will coordinate it if necessary.

Details!!!: the oxygen mask, has two eyelets on each side face, this is to pass an elastic band that must be attached to the hook harness that attaches to the sides of the helmet, just like fighter pilots wear.

This band should be crossed in blades to make a correct fastening of the mask.

It also includes harness to put a strap under the chin, as a helmet restraint.

Update 2024: the Zip. Named "Hull Parts", it is now including the helmet in sections or by parts, to have an easier printing; all parts come with a small joining and reinforcement plate (see pictures), which allows the assembly safely.

The helmet front or visor cover, is also in 2 parts and with a small reinforcement plate for joining.

The attachment pins, the ones that hold the frontis on its sides. Now comes independent, you will need to print 6 units for use.

IMPRINTED HELMET!!!, for head of 52 cm of perimeter (standard measurement); 15cm of access in the lower part of the helmet for this model; you can scale it according to the perimetric dimensions of each head.

all parts fit together perfectly; post-processing is required to achieve the finish you desire.
