3D model description
Organizers for Tekhenu: Obelisk of the Sun board game with the expansion Time of Seth. All board game components are stored in closed containers, so nothing falls out even when the game box is stored vertically. Theme reliefs and cutouts decorate sliding lids. Player boards equipped with frames hold Building and Statue trays steady during the whole game. This solution speed up the game set up and provide comfort during the play.
The set contains: Resources organizers, Player's facilitators set, 3 deck tray, Card organizer, Pillar Tile organizer, Tile organizer and Marker organizer.
- RESOURCES ORGANIZER: All types of resources are accommodated here in separate sections. These of value 1 have sections with rounded bottom, so taking them out is comfortable. Value 5 tokens are kept in sections with sloped bottom and indentation. 2 similar but larger sections are for Scribes. 2 of such organizers can be placed on 2 sides of the table, so all players can reach for resources easily during the play.
- PLAYER'S FACILITATORS SET: There are many players' components to prepare before the play. I wanted to find a solution to speed it up. Thus Buildings and Statues are kept in corresponding trays. They are adjusted to player's board, but they don't cover any important information in the same time. To prevent them from moving around, I have designed 2 frames that are slid onto player board. They interlock on the back. Top frame holds Building tray and Bottom tray - Statue tray. There is also a Pillar tray*. **Player's organizer stores: Building tray, Pillar tray and different player's markers (discs, cubes and meeples). Statue tray is much taller. To save space in the game box, I decided to store all 4 players' Statues trays in a separate Statue organizer.
- 3 DECK TRAY: 3 main decks for Card Market are kept here: Blessings, Technologies and Decrees. Sloped bottom and indentations facilitate the draw. Compartments are adjusted to sleeved cards.
- CARD ORGANIZER: All other cards are stored here: Destiny, Artifact, Cultist and 2 Starting decks (one of the base game on the other of the expansion). Partition walls separate decks. The organizer is adjusted to sleeved cards.
- PILLAR TILE ORGANIZER: There are 3 sections in this organizer. The largest one is for Pillar tiles (of the base game). Conquest tiles (with Pillar and blood drop on the reverse) are in another slot. Sloped back walls and indentations facilitate the blind draw. Small thresholds prevent tiles from sliding down. Blood tokens are kept in the recess next to Conquest tiles. Rounded bottom facilitates the draw.
- TILE ORGANIZER: Horus bonus and Solo tiles are stored here in well adjusted sections.
- MARKER ORGANIZER: Several different markers are stored here all together: Scoring markers, Deben token, Progress marker and Vizier.
About the organizers storage solution: All organizers fit the base game box with the main board and Seth board on top. In the expansion box player boards in frames are kept next to the bag with dice and the Obelisk. I also store there player aids, Obelisk wheels, Seth board overlay and rule books. It all could be kept in just the base game box but it wouldn't be fully closed then mainly bcs of the frames and the Obelisk.
If there is a larger hole in a lid (e.g. 3deck tray, Resources organizer), it provides access to a partition wall of the container. You can grab this wall through the hole to pick the organizer up - it facilitates unpacking the game box.
