3D model description
This is a 3D printable model of Mjölnir from God of War Ragnarök.
I spent quite amount of time to model, in close details as close as I can, to the original model in the game.
The Zip File contains all of the 3d printable parts, all corelated to each other, in their original positions, so you could scale to your likings.
Sizes:
Hammer head Length: 380 mm
Width:134 mm
Height: 537 mm
NOTE for scaling: There's a 28 mm diameter slot, cut out from part of the pomel, throughout the handle and partially from the hammer head, so you could glue a wooden rod to join together, and make it stable.
3D printing:
The parts were printed on 3 printers. Handle and the hammer head are printed oriented verticaly upwards, on a Creality cr10s printer. (Note: Because of the details of the hammer head, the part was raised a bit from the build plate, so I could add support underneath, in that case the first layer is a one contiguous base, and the support removal was easier.)
The rest of the parts were printed on Elegoo Marts 2P, and on a Elegoo Starurn 2 printers.
Assembly:
The parts are made to fit together, but may require a little sanding, depends on the printers, and orientations.
There are a slot for a 28 mm diameter dowel through pomel, handle, hammer head as mentioned, but there's another slot for a 6mm dowel through the hammer head underneath the center coins, perpendicularly to the bigger rod, so you could lock the supprt rod with the hammer head physically!
The parts were painted, then glued together with epoxy. Make sure to leave the gluing areas paint free, or scruffed for the perfect bonding!
