The LAS-58 Talon is an energy-based sidearm. It is a semi-automatic laser revolver that fires pulses similarly to the LAS-16 Sickle in the videogame Helldivers 2.

The model is designed to be printed of different colored filaments without the use of a multi-filament system (like AMS). The model consists of three main parts - the grip, firing part and barrel, with details and elements that can be printed separately to create a multicolor model. The replica in the pictures did not use a multi-filament system.

Zero extra parts (like rods or screws) are needed in the assembly of the model - nearly all parts can snap together for better alignment, but glue is needed to secure a robust model. At 100% scale the model is 40x15x6cm, which corresponds to the dimensions of the in-game model. The part of the grip where your pinkie, ring and middle finger are placed is approximately 6cm long, so you may need to down- or upscale the model to make it correspond to your hand size. To print the "LAS-58 Talon" text on the sides of the barrel, you either need to use a multifilament system or change the filament at layer 8.

Even though the model is quite big and multicolored, it is cheap to print with the cost of approximate 127g of black, 59g of grey, 3g of blue, 1g of red, 3g of gold and 70g of yellow filament to print it. You can lower this amount even more by lowering the infill of the parts - I did this with the barrel and saved 50g of filament.

A non-painted .3mf is included for easy overview of all parts and their corresponding color. The parts that have "SingleColor" in their name already have details and elements installed and can't become multicolored without the use of a multifilament system - and those with "Multicolor" in their name can have details installed (for example the side texture panels on the grip).
