Print the letters. Glue or screw on a surface. Drill holes to pass leds or wires between the letters and after placing the leds inside the letters you can close with the respective cover.

Suggestion: stick the letters on a board and drill to pass the wires or LEDs on the back. So nothing is seen in the front :)
